As in the picture on your web site When I lived there it was painted white and had two tenants. The front porch was the entrance to one side of the cottage and ours was around the back. Our section consisted of a small Chicken and one small living room with an open range for heating and cooking purposes. Upstairs were two small bedrooms and there was a small leanto outside the back door which housed a chemical toilet. We paid a small rent to what was then Leathers farm and the cottage was part of there estate. There were no utilities to the property apart from a cold water supply. At the rear of the cottage was another single storie building which we used to rent out to a Mr Jones from Billington Avenue to be used as a garage. The enhanced picture looks very much like this buildng.

Pps I vaguely remember that the single storie building at the back of the house was previously used as a blacksmiths forge but not absolutely sure. Will ask my brother when I see him.

Just reading this topic over again, as contact has been made from America about this,
but did anything ever become of this.
